For a Porter Beer Syrup: Try a London Mule!
- 1.5oz Beefeater
- 1/3oz Sweet sherry
- 1/3oz Porter Syrup
- 1.5oz Your favorite Porter
- Orange twist for garnish
- Ice cubes
This drink uses a technique known as “rolling.” Fill a glass with ice, and add all of the liquid ingredients. Gently pour the ingredients from the glass into a shaker tin (or mixing glass). Strain the contents back into the original glass, then garnish with an orange twist.
Rolling doesn’t always involve straining the drink, but for this one, do. The drink is really lively and refreshing, but it’s got a lot of different layers to it.
For an American Lager Beer Syrup: Try an Old Fashioned
- 2oz Bourbon
- 1oz of American Lager Beer Syrup
- 1 splash Club soda
- 4 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 Orange wheel
- 1 Maraschino cherry
In an Old Fashioned glass, muddle the bitters, American Lager Beer Syrup, orange wheel, cherry and a splash of soda. Remove the orange rind, fill with ice, and add the bourbon. Garnish with a fresh orange wheel and cherry.
